Individuals, groups of farmers,
growers, partnerships, proprietorship firms, NGOs, SHGs,
companies, corporations, co-operatives, agro processing
co-operative societies, agriculture produce market committees,
and marketing boards. Applies to renovation or expansion
of rural godowns constructed only by co-operatives |
| Location |
Can construct godowns of any size anywhere,
but should be outside the limits of Municipal Corporation
areas and with a minimum capacity of 100 MT |
| Subsidy |
Subsidy under the scheme is linked to
Institutional Credit and will be available to only projects
that are financed by banks as directed by NABARD.
The rate of subsidy will be 25% of the capital cost of the
project and restricted to a maximum of 10000 MT capacity
godown or maximum of Rs.37.50 lakhs. For entrepreneurs belonging
to SC/ST category, the rate of subsidy is Rs.50 lakhs. |
| Repayment |
Up to 11 years including a grace period
of 1 year with the first annual Instalment due after 23
months |
| Pledge Loans |
Can avail loans up to 75% or the value
of produce pledged subject to a maximum of Rs.5 lakhs |
