Under the MODS scheme, we accept deposits with a minimum
of Rs.10000/- for new accounts and Rs.5000/- for subsequent
deposits. Term deposits are accepted with an SB account
or current account or both for a period of one to five years.
This scheme provides automatic transfer of the excess
amount over the threshold limit is transferred automatically
from the SB account to the Term deposit account on the
10th and 20th of every month. You can choose this periodicity
as 6, 12, 24, or 36 months.
Interest on balance in Savings Plus accounts will be the
same as applicable to savings banks account.
Interest paid on TDRs/STDRS created through auto sweep
facility will be as per the published interest rates for
TDRs/STDRs for the various maturities.
The scheme is available at all our P&SB branches and at
all the fully computerized branches.
