What is Core Power?
Core Power is a value added facility allowing customers of State Bank of Hyderabad to do transactions between all its branches through out India.
Which are the accounts allowed for cash deposit and withdrawals?
Savings banks, current account, overdraft account, cash credit account includes ACC/KCC accounts.
Which are the accounts allows only credits (Cash or Transfer)?
Demand loan and Term loan account allows only credits.
Which accounts are not permitted to deposit or withdrawal in Core Power?
Accounts pertaining to PPF, NRE, RFC and EEFC are not covered under core power.
What is home centre transaction?
Doing the transaction under core power between the two branches in the same city, which falls under the same local clearing zone.
What is non-home centre transaction?
Doing the transaction under core power from one city centre branch to other city branch
How much amount of money can be deposited in my account at any other branch?
Cash deposits transactions up to `20000/- can be accepted at non-home branches and cash withdrawal by cheque can be permitted without any limit.
What are the minimum charges?
- Cash deposit transaction within the home centre and non-home centre is restricted to `20000/- and hence charges are not applicable.
- Transactions within the same Home Centre are also free of cost irrespective of the amount i.e. for cash payments and transfer transactions.
- Non- Home center transactions up to `20000/- is free of cost, above `20000/- usual remittance charges on the instrument plus `20/- transaction fee are applicable (if both debit and credit transaction involve non home branch, charges are to be recovered for both the transactions
Can I deposit the amount to third party account in any branch?
Yes, up to `20000/- cash deposit through core power
Can I withdraw cash from other branch by withdrawal slip?
Cash withdrawal through withdrawal slip is not allowed. Cash withdrawal is only through cheque.
Is there any restriction on transfer of money from this branch account to other branch elsewhere?
Yes, accounts which are Dormant, inoperative, irregular due to Limit expiry, exceeding limit, etc are not allowed through Core Power.
What is my responsibility as a customer of State Bank of Hyderabad?
As a customer, you have to inform your branch about changes made in name, address, signature, and mandate, if any. So that the bank will update the record and you will not find any difficulty in doing transaction through Core Power.
