Is SBH authorised to sell Gold Coins?
SBH has permission from RBI for sale of Gold Coins.
What is the Purity of Gold Coins?
SBH Gold Coins are 24 Carat, imported from Switzerland and available in fineness of 999.9. Every Coin is neatly packed in tamperproof Certicard (Certicard is serially numbered with Assay certification signifying the highest purity as per International Standards).
What prices are SBH Gold Coins/ Bars available at?

How will SBH sell the Gold Coins?
SBH sells Gold Coins through its branches only.
Who can buy Gold?
Both SBH customers and non-customers can buy Gold Coins from us.
How can one buy Gold Coins through a branch?
All you are required to do is complete the application form mentioning the weight and quantity of the Gold Coins required and submit the form at the branch along with the Cash/ Cheque from the accounts maintained with us. PAN Number must be given, if the payment by way cash is `50,000/- and above.
Branch will accept and process your requirement and deliver the Gold Coins along with the invoice.
I have an account with SBH. Could I pay for cost of Gold Coin by cheque?
You can pay cost of Gold Coin by cheque drawn on deposit account maintaining with SBH.
I have an account with a branch of SBH near my home. Would I get Gold Coins from any other branch with payment by cheque?
You can get the Gold Coins from our designated branches by presenting your cheque drawn on any branch of SBH.
I live at a place where your bank does not have a branch. How could I get Gold Coin?
You may approach your nearest SBH branch who would assist you to get Gold Coins.
Will SBH buy back the Gold Coins sold by them?
SBH does not buy back the Gold Coins sold by them. However, you could dispose them by sale to jewelers or get a loan by pledging the gold with our bank.
Is loan facility available on Gold Coins?
Gold Loans can be availed against pledge of Gold Coins from our bank.
Could I get Gold Coins with some specific emblem?
We undertake supply of Gold Coins of specific emblems as demanded by clients on bulk orders.
Should I give prior order?
SBH Gold Coins are instantly delivered on payment. Giving prior order/ advance booking is not required.

Do I have to produce any identity proof for purchasing Gold Coins?
Submission of Identity proof is not required for SBH Customers. Only PAN Card is required for payment of cash of `50,000/- and above for purchase of Gold Coins.
Is discount available?
Our prices are already very competitive when compared to prices usually available. However, during some festive seasons, we do provide discounts. We may also consider discounts on bulk purchases. Please approach nearest branch of our bank with specific offer.
Do I have to pay Sales Tax?
The Sale of Gold Coins attracts Sales Tax and our sale price is inclusive of Sales Tax.
